If you received a notice, you have been identified as a potential class member in a lawsuit filed against the Defendants LBF Travel Inc., LBF Travel Management Corp. (collectively “Defendants”).
The lawsuit claims that Defendants –doing business as SmartFares and/or SmartFares.com—violated California law by falsely advertising airfare for sale on their websites; failing to make legally required disclosures prior to or at the time Defendants received payment for airline tickets; charging consumers and collecting money for airfare before confirming and issuing tickets leading to “failed ticketings”; and failing to completely and timely refund consumers; or requiring additional payment for the airfare sold; or selling replacement airfare instead of the airfare originally sold.
